About Mrs. Chinn

Stephanie graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and her Professional Clear Credential in Secondary Mathematics. After teaching in LAUSD for 5 years at Paul Revere Middle School, she worked for 2 years in Hawthorne for Sylvan with their Sylvan At School Reading Program.

Stephanie took a break from teaching in order to stay home with her 3 children. While her children attended public school, Stephanie was a dedicated PTA mom. She organized teacher appreciation events, helped create the school yearbook, and published the school’s weekly newsletter. As her children were homeschooled, Stephanie volunteered her time at her daughter’s ballet studio and was the Boutique Coordinator and the studio’s Conference Coordinator for a regional ballet festival held annually. 

Her path back to full-time work began as a long term substitute at Valor Christian Academy, and then part-time tutoring at Sylvan in Torrance. As her children were attending Ambassador, Stephanie applied for the position that she currently has at the front office. Still working in education, Stephanie loves the multitude of hats that she has the opportunity to wear at Ambassador. She considers it a true blessing and a grace from the Lord.

Stephanie and her husband, Rob, are active members at Lighthouse Community Church where they currently serve & disciple young adults. Stephanie has served in many ministries over the years and worked with a variety of demographics including middle schoolers, college students, toddlers, moms of preschoolers, and kids with special needs. Her children all graduated from Ambassador and are working towards their bachelor’s degrees at Biola University and Chapman University, and dancing professionally at Ballet 5:8 in Chicago.
